Texas A&M University, the university
YOU formerly attended, is taking broad steps toward the future to
become a Top 10 university in our nation. Texas A&M University
has programs in place to increase diversity of the student body
and faculty. There are new entities present to support minority
student organizations and aid in minority recruitment. The
University has a desire to increase the retention of our students.
All of these things help to position the university
to be a recognized top tier educational institution.
However, the University Administration
can not do all of this without the support of its former students
like yourself. By joining the Black Former Student Network, not
only do you benefit, but you have the opportunity to aid undergraduates
and prospective students in areas in which YOU formerly needed support.
