Howdy! In 2001, the Black Former Student
Network (BFSN) was formed in an effort to promote the interests and support the
relationships of the African-American constituency of Texas A&M. The BFSN is the first Constituent Network
charted by the Association of Former Students.
Our primary goals and objectives are to support Texas A&M in its
recruitment and retention efforts of African-American Students, Faculty, and
Administrators; and to provide opportunities for professional and social
networking among our members, Texas A&M, and other affiliated entities.
Membership in the BFSN is open to all persons. We invite all persons of all cultural,
religious, and political backgrounds to join us in our efforts.
